Company: Mission Coffee
Demographic: All coffee lovers
Brief: Create packaging for the 2 starting flavors of coffee bean.
The overall purpose of Mission Coffee is to give back; that's where Andrew Cody started when he came up with the idea of creating coffee that helps others. The goal: to caffeinate with pure ingredients while helping those around us.
The craft packaging emphasizes the pure and natural ingredients. Each coffee flavor, sourced from different locations, boasts a unique flavor profile. This is depicted through location-based illustrations as well as a dominant color block that extends from front-to-back. The main color block signifies the dominant flavor note for a bold pop of color as well as easy recognition once all flavors are standing side-by-side. Proceeds from each bag of coffee go towards the cause highlighted on the bag; a cause nod (icon or logo) is aligned with the roast strength indicator in a lock-up that can stay consistent throughout all flavors.

Company: SAE Insitute
Demographic: Age: 18-25, Metropolitan
Brief: Create an open house brochure that details program offerings, that allows schools multiple uses.
SAE Institute has several locations within the US and hosts a lot of Open House events over the course of the year. The fill-in style front allowed for schools to order these in bulk, and fill in dates on a need-be basis. This cut costs and allowed for schools to have brochures at the ready.
The goal creatively was for prospective students to see themselves as a student/creator/or producer. The "engineer your future" title speaks to not only the flexibility of program, but the dream of forging your own path. The collage-style photography within the title is a range of students learning/mixing/mastering that easily translates to one if not more of the passions of a prospective student. The booklets were printed with an Aqueous soft-touch coating for an additional layer of detail, smoothness, and quality that will stand apart from other schools.

Company: Understood
Demographic: Employees/adults
Brief: Create a gift for employees upon returning to the office.
Understood is an organization that helps those who learn and think differently. In this vein, the gift for employees was an opportunity to "walk the walk".
In an effort to create a gift that embraces was it means to help those who learn and think differently, we partnered with Generator, a company based in Vermont who employ and often support those who learn and think differently, to create a custom "fidget".
Studies show that fidgeting helps maintain focus for those who learn differently. The fidgets were 100% custom made from their color, shape, to even their density; thus maximizing the ability to thread and play with them on the string of a hoodie. A one-sheet was created for "How to string a fidget", since this was a new product and "hoodie fidgets" were handed out amongst the return-to-office with a hoodie to wear for the cool in-office air conditioning. Understood now has a fully-branded, custom fidget that has the potential to become much more than an internal gift.

Company: Understood
Demographic: HR executives
Brief: Create a guide of offerings for the Workplace disability inclusion to be handed out to corporations and HR executives. Need to be able to be grouped at random.
Understood is a thought leader in the disability inclusion space; with that knowledge and access to experts, they expanded into the educational space.
Following look/feel guidelines from the Understood brand matrix, the guide was built. It was structured in a way that the table-of-contents will navigate to the page at hand when using the full booklet, but it can also function as single-page pdf's. In the event that only a few offerings are needed, this range gives recruiters the ability to offer to a multitude of HR departments, that vary by industry.
